When people mention villages, what strike them first are always quiet nights and scattered cottages, which is totally different from villages nowadays. At least vary from my home village.
     

 Scarcely does darkness fall when villagers gradually assemble under a century-old tree, chatting, singing or dancing. The lively scene is reflected in a silent pond beside the tree, which seems to make the village more active. The pond, at the center of the village, is rounded with stone fence and there is a bridge with a kiosk above it. On the left of the entrance to the village stand rows of houses of different heights. Even when walking along the road, you can see nothing but dense houses. Netherless, not all areas of the village are occupied with houses. On the right of the entrance, there is an oval stone carved with the name, Tang Li. About ten meters behind the stone is a Chinese-style kiosk surrounded by brushwood.

If you turn left at the end of the road, you can see a small hillside with well-decorated fences and growing bamboo. At the top of it, there is a small garden with a small waterwheel, a long corridor covered with cirrus and a small kiosk. Villagers often take a walk in the garden. As for the right branch, the fields skirt the road on both sides. In spring, scenery of the area will be fantastic with a wide range of green.

Anyway, it's a very nice village.
