Everyone should keep a sense of social responsibility

Since earliest times, human beings have been social animals: we live in groups, we work together as a team. As Jone Donna said,"No one is an island".Because of this, the importance of having a sense of social responsibility is fairly prominent.
First of all, the sense of social responsibility is beneficial to our social cohesion. For example, at the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, a crowd of people was full of a sense of social responsibility. They gathered together for serving the people from the whole world by their own volition. Thereby Beijing Olympic Games was successfully completed. There is another point, the sense of social responsibility will make us behave ourselves in public, which is helpful to build a better social. When we visit some major cities, we could invariably notice that some people split and drop the litter wherever and whenever. These people, I dare say, are indifferent to the social responsibility and put their needs first instead of public environment. In other words, they aren't civic-minded.
All in all, I think the sense of responsibility is of vital importance to our social cohesion and civic virtues.
