Are Social Networking Sites Good For Our Society?

It's universally acknowledged that with the development of information technology, various social networking sites have come into our daily life, transforming our communication and messaging gradually. In general, I'm one of its proponents.
First, there is no doubt that these sites have been promoting social interaction. We can easily send a greeting to an overseas friend and we can chat with our parents by a video chatting. The networking sites give us an opportunity to communicate with others on the Internet because it seems impossible for us to chat face-to-face at any time or any place. Second, it becomes more convenient and fast to share information. It's no longer a "blackboard time", we can develop a blog and post photos to share our daily life; government puts latest policies on their official webpage for people to get and air their opinions. Information becomes within reach, based on its great timeliness and universality, an increasing number of linked organizations and APPs come up, such as marriage interview websites, network anti-corruption, and so on.
Social networking sites have seeped into our life, although there're still some unavoidable disadvantages, generally speaking, it's good for our society.

- Ithink whether it is advantage or disadvantage depends on ourselves. You know what,since we tend to rely on social network,we can't control the time we speed on them.For example,once you got addicted to using social network,the time you speed on real social communication will become less.That why sometimes call it as a useless social tool.

- Social network tend to be useful but sometimes it is also like a drug which one with less self-restrain could br obssessed with it and hardly can be grossed out. However, we can not deny its advantages, only can we use it correctly, the more benefits we can get.

- There is a sad scene that people are sitting together but no talking, they just being busy with looking through their ins or webs. People do need communication, not on the Internet but in real life.
