The way of improving your English listening skills
There are two ways to improve our English listening skills. They are both importance.The one ways is called INTENSIVE LISTENING.The other one is called EXTENSIVE LISTENING.
Extensive listening means you can listen to radio or watch all of the English programs that you are interested in through different platforms. You can do it anytime every day.For example: when you get up in the morning ,you can turn on the radio to listen English news. When you have luncheon or dinner ,you can turn on the TV to watch an English drama. When you go bed, you can listen to some English music. In any case, you have to let your brain fall into the English language environment.
Intensive listening is the most efficient way to improve our English listening, I have ever done.
First step: You have to confirm your English ability level,then you choose suitable English material. The material should be all of 70% content ,that you can understand and comprehend.
Second step: you have to listen to the same article at least three times. then write down carefully each sentences that you listen to and check up the result at the last time.
I could remember my first intensive listing. An one minute article, I spent 1 hour on writing down all of sentences. This was an awful thing.But never give up. keep going.
