This book is a book with regret that though slightly, excessive pieces are not out of the naive and chicken-soup taste because they are created in an incipient and for a rather long time. My mind gets preliminarily mature only from not much earlier than the recent one year, and pieces in the time, though productively produced, do not account for too much.

There are, except the novelistic, no less than a variety of both subjects and literary styles. “Live a Lifetime”, the title, is no other than the advent of wisdom, gained from my undergone period of life’s test.

This book is specially a gift to my cousins, a boy and a girl, with the humble expectation of their, and might as well, equal and higher readers’ referring to English performed by one’s best, its heartfelt purpose advocating rather recreational writing thus of literature at large, a heart besides ability is developed.

A certain number of writings put on others’ names or expressly, marks “from...” or “excerpts”, etc, so that they are translations or adaptions, of which most are from my preference like celebrities; particularly a few, my talented friends.

My acknowledgment goes to Gloria, who teaches me English; my mother and my grandpa with their tolerance of my immaturity; and my friends who support me in reading my written things and giving likes to me in WeChat.

The last but not least, it is a book born in a hurry, a book of inevitable faults, and a book for all kind-hearted criticism.
