A proud man is not surely the strongest; there are many reasons for him to be living in a drum. Nor can a strong man be taken by timidity and frustration, especially when he feels proud, and then the pride is struck down and likely extinguished. 

Every best of us is a trial, rather than a demand. When one says "I tried," there will not be regrets, because what he faces is a fine end product. However, it is not like cellphones that only update, but takes a long and winding course for the new to supersede the old.   

I am as confident as the old man in the park who is writing calligraphy on the ground, and who is slightly appreciated by other people, but still writes for the better part of a day receiving momentary glimpses.

There should be, first of all, courage to invest in long-term endeavour. In a short time a man can only be at the start, and in half way when persistence is running out, and to arrive at the accomplishment the man has succeeded in outdoing himself.
