The word I want to refer to here is "hiatus"，which means gap in a series or sequence, making it incomplete or break in continuity.I was then impressed by the example it gave:We are often disconcerted by the hiatuses of thought.The reason lies in that it speakes out the frequent situation happening in my life and study.For example, I have ever got into a embarrassment because of my mind sinking into a blankness when I was in the middle of a speech .This is the weakness ,preventing me from actively taking part in those public programme as I 'm afraid of losing face.I listened to my classmates's advice and frequently participated in various kinds of competition and performance in front of the crowd.Nevertheless little improvement has ever come to me ,which frustrated me and excluded me from the group of active participants but into the group of silent learners.

  I often ask myself why I can't overcome such a defect as everyone else does,but never a answer illustrates my annoyment.It is not that I haven't taken actions,but that the results are always a disappointment and the process to me is a trauma.After serveral attempts , I decided that I might as well be myself instead of melting into the fashion by changing myself.But ,sometimes , I will be struck by the idea that the bravery is a important factor for us to succeed and don't want to give up easily.Fortunately, I now accept my own nature and I live a happy and carefree life ,though sometimes regretted.
