uighur friends on the way

317 views. 2010-7-17 15:10 |

it is not till recently that i learnt from one of my friends in xinjiang that uighur language has a wide connection with russain,no wonder so many people in xinjiang, especially the uighur study russain more than english.he told me that many russian words havs the same meaning and they sounds alike, such as Машина(cars with wheels),oh,what a fun to have made such discovery for the first time.
then i made a survey amony several of my uighur friends, they all agree with it.It is ture that most uighur will spend less than 3 months to learn daily russain, while for us  han nationality,it will take about at least half a year. what's more, the russian special pronounciation is hard and even impossible for some of us to mimic. for the uighur, they are born with the talent to learn it well. how jealous...........
when i take this magic commonplace into deep consideration,i figured out that this is fixed.because they are living close native russain speakers.think about it ,man, xinjiang is connected with middle asia ,and for instence, kazahstan, people in middle asia all speak russian, though they have their only language.however russian is used as the official language------------influnce from the former soviet union.
likewise people living in southwest china, like guanxi, yunnan, they speak the dialects looks like people in southeast asia.
what a miracle world.
