Today’s Breakfast Time

988 views. 2009-9-28 12:08 |Individual Classification:My story|

After about 20 minutes’ walking and jogging (in order to get some exercise), I arrived at our school’s dining hall at about 7:00 am and sat down at a table to enjoy breakfast.

There were many teachers eating at the time and next to me was Mr. Zhang, who is in charge of the three experimental classes together with me. (Some of these students in senior two who are under the age of 16 have decided to take part in the entrance examination to University of Science and Technology of China this year.) While eating, I informed him of the training results, saying it was not so satisfying. I suggested showing the results to the headmaster after the second simulative exam in case he expected too much from the students.

“If none of the students passed the entrance examination, the headmaster would be angry with us. Most probably he would criticize us in public.” I added. To tell the truth, all the staff in our school is afraid of him, including all the leaders.

At this time I noticed that Mr. Zhang gave me a hint and gestured for me to stop talking. I didn’t know what had happened and turned my head. Wow! Alas! My God! The headmaster was looking and smiling at me. Obviously, he must have heard what I had said just now.

“Sorry, Mr. Wang. I didn’t see you just now,” I apologized.

“That’s OK,” Mr. Wang answered, “But I have found Dengjun is becoming cleverer and cleverer. ” He smiled. I couldn’t help but smile in embarrassment, too. At that moment, all the teachers at the table burst into laughter loudly but friendly.

no worries, we're teachers now and we don't have to act the way students to their teachers but employee to boss :)
