Sometimes, I cannot help but wonder if god planned everything for from birth to death. Many things seems to be chosen for us and we have no say in this. Let's take a few examples. We cannot choose our geneder (male or female), we cannot choose our mother, father, brothers and sisters. We cannot choose the place where we are born and spend our life. We could be born in the Mongolian plains, in the scenic towns of Switzerland or the hectic life of New York. We are born into a rich or poor family is not for us to choose. How tall we are or how we look is pre-determined. Our heath condition has it's foundation from birth. All these things can affect the quality of our life, happiness and well being. With so many things pre-determined and outside of our control, we sometimes wonder how can we say life is fair.
However, some people do argue that a super rich businessman in the USA is not necessarily happier than an ordinary farmer in Central Africa or a hilltribe. Everyone of us is sent to this world to play a role and we have to do it good. We should learn to be happy with what we have because the more we have. It is said that you only have true friends when you are poor or helpless. You can only see the real world, real people and real life when you have a simple and ordiary life.
What is your deepest fear? Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is
that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness,
that most frightens us. We are afraid that others are doing better than or richer than us and it is this kind of thinking that is making our life unhappy or miserable. Everyone has something which others don't have.
