Confusing life

Today we have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences but less time, more degrees but less common sense, more knowledges but less judgment, we have more experts but more problems, more medicine but less wellness.
We have spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive to fast, get to angry to quickly, stay up to late, get up to tired, ead too little, watch TV too often and think too seldom.
We have multiplied our possessions but reduced our values, we talk too much,l ove too little and lie to often. We have learned how to make a living but not a life, we have added years to life, not life to years.
We have taller bulidings but short tampers, wilder freeways but narrower viewpoints, we spend more but have less, we buy more but enjoy it less.
We have been all the way to moon and back but we have trouble crossing this street to meet a new neighbor. We have conquered outer spaces but not inner spaces, we've split the atom but not our prejudice, we write more but learn less, we plan more but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush not to wait.We've higher incomers but lower morals. We bulid more computers to hold more informations, to produce more copies, but not communication. We are long on quantity but short on quality.
There are times of fast foods and slow digestion, tall men but short character; steep profits but shollow reletionships. More leisure but less fun; more kinds of food but less nurition; two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses but broken homes.
That's why I propose, that as of today. Do not keep anything for special occasions. Everyday that you live is a special occasion. Search for knowledge, read more and sit on your front porch and admire the view without pay any attention to your needs. Spend more time with your families and friends. Eat your favorite foods, and visit the places you love Life is a chain of moment of enjoyment.not only about survival.
We have lots of plans but seldom really do what we plan. It is time to make a real effort to do what we planned.
Be nice and friendly to everyone you meet and do not mind if you get a cold reaction. Lend a helping hand where there is a need.

More high and modernized building, but less communication each other, even though close neighbors(up and down); bigger house, smaller families......
Owning one grateful heart is nice. It's said that the fragrance always stays in the hands give the roses.

- Sometimes, I feel that the more we think the more pain we have. My major is about literature and I don't think gereat poems, prose and ever-lasting plays or novels can bring us the happiness we expected. Reading maybe enjoyable, but doing criticism is is really painful. I just follow my nature and do the things my heart tells me.
