Cockroaches scare me to death
I am not afraid of a tiger but a cockroach can scare the wits out of me. Just think about it is enough to make me shiver all over. The most terrible ones are those which flies in through the windows.
Last night at about 3 a.m., i was awaken by something crawling on my arm. I looked and saw a fast moving cockroach going to my neck. Immediately I jumped out of bed like there was a snake. I jumped so fast that I hit my bedside table spilling everything to the ground. Naturally, whole night I can't sleep. It is probably still hiding in my house ready to attack again. Now so many hours later, I still feel the damned coackroach on my arms. I had to take a clean bath scrubbing my arm repeatedly until it got all red. Had to change my bedsheet and pillowcases too. What a nightmare. I would treat you as my hero if you can tell me how to stop these crawly frightening cockroaches.

- Haha, forgive me, I just couldnot help bursting into laughter after reading your vivid description. I am afraid of cockroaches, either. When I was in school dormitory, cockroaches often appeared because our dorm is too moist and not that clean. One of my dormmates is very valiant for she found a dead cockroach lying under her body. From then on, the burden of fighting with the cockroachef fell on her shoulders.
To wipe out the cockroaches, the most important thing is to keep your house clean. In addition, you can buy some insect-repellents. When your enemies appear again, the insect-repellents could be useful. Further more, put some mothballs in your wardrobe. Hope you can get rid of cockroaches finally.

- Have mercy. LOL. Thinking about it is quite funny. Guys should not be afraid of cockraches. I don't want to appear sissy but those cockraches are really scarry. I just bought a can of powerful insecticide which says "kills cocraches fast". To kill a cockrach is a struggle too. I just wish I can see it go away itself, just don't appear and don't make me kill it.

- Poor you. if the same thing happened to me, i probably would scream my guts out...afraid is not strong enough to describe my dread toward cockraches, can't image it crawling on my arm..perhaps i should stop here. Dream well tonight, hope it would not bother you again.

- Hehes... u are a man, but to my surprised, u would be afraid of small insects. lol~ but I get it~ Actually I am not afraid of snakes but I hate earthworm, So bad~ whatsoever, I firmly believe that u can conquer them. my old~

- you poor thing. :-) i guess your bedroom was a little damp or possibly did you store any snack in it. or maybe your area is kind of damper this season. i only see cockcroaches in the kitchen, never anywhere else. hope your insecticide will help.

2 Not to litter any food in the house,especially in the kitchen.
3 Change the rubbish bag everyday,and throw out the old one out.
There is no food to eat,the cockroaches will go away themselves.

- yaping: Hehes... u are a man, but to my surprised, u would be afraid of small insects. lol~ but I get it~ Actually I am not afraid of snakes but I hate earyyeeeeee..... it is not about afraid or not. They look so terrible with thier long crawly legs and look so horrible. I am sure I am not the only guy afraid of cockroches. They seem to come out when it is going to rain heavy.

I am afraid the insecticide will not kill the cockraches but may be will kill me.

- you are a guy? right. i think there are some reasons for you scare the
coackroach. i teach you a method, if you see a coackroach again, use your foot trample it. if kill them frequently in your daily life, i bet you will not be scared anymore.

- It's really bad. Generally speaking, cockroach likes living in wet circumstance. So there are two points to avoid them visiting; Firstly, as the upstair friend said that keep room, kitchen, and closet clean. Then, keep dry. By the way, don't you curtain the bed to avoid mosquite hitting?

- warmjaney: It's really bad. Generally speaking, cockroach likes living in wet circumstance. So there are two points to avoid them visiting; Firstly, as the upstYes, I have to keep the places dry and clean. Problem is I think the cockroach came in from outside, so it is hard to stop them coming in. Oh we don't have to use the mosquito nets here because there are very few mosquitoes. The will be no mosqutioes if outside don't have the waste water ponds. Thanks for your advice.

- Aerosol may has some terrible smells ,you can choose some solid pesticide such as gel baits or "Roach Hotel".
