Angry shopkeepers insenstive customers

Today, at the computer shopping center in Hong Kong, I overheard a noisy argument between a seller and a few toursits from mainland China about prices. The tourists wanted to buy a camera and the seller said he can give a special low price. When the prices was given, the tourist says it is too high and they can get it much cheaper on TAOBAO. The shopkeeper got sick of hearing this all the time shouted out.... Taobao, Taobao everything Taobao...If you like Taobao so much, why you come here and ask? Why don't you find yourself a wife on Taobao too? We have to pay rent and salary, so of course our prices would be slighlt higher.. here we sell what is in front of you and guarantees, not guessing online. Don't know who is right, but seems the internet is putting shopkeepers out of business.The photo-film industry has died, land line telephone services are dead, books don't sell much, newspapers are gone and a lot of other businesses are affected. Friends also don't see each other much and most freindships are online more than meeting face to have. Don't know what would be next.

- Yes, it is truth that, on the one hand, it's convenient for us to do something without stepping out of our house, but on the other hand, we lose something compared with our traditional way to do business and contact with our friends.

- surely, we can buy a lot of things by online shoppping. And the internet can save our time sometimes. But if we choose to buy something with high price from the internet, we are also run the risk of the quality of the products. I do not remember how long do I buy a book from a bookstrore last time. Mabybe long long ago, we can learn a lot from internet and not need to waste money on the book except that it is very special and pratical one.
