So many different names for Toilet !

Sorry for bringing up this unpleasant topic, but I cannot stop wondering why the Americans make up so many different names for Toilets. They say it is better to use indirect names to avoid embarrassement. They keep changing the names and it is hard to follow. Today it is WC and tomorrow it can be washroom. Getting dizzy.
Here are some of the names I have seen in USA;

Washroom
WC (Women's convenience)
MC (Men's convenience)
Lavatory
Restroom
Bathroom
Men's Room/Ladies Room
Iphone Station

- Haha yeah.. melting pot indeed but rather strange. By the way, they now have a dual or unisex toilet which can be change for use by men or women depending on how many women are waiting. Women have priority. Quite nice.

- Good rellection of toilet names. I think when I went to America I will be confused by those strange names. For instance, Comfort station will definitely remind me of the atrocotu of Japanese troops who compelled women to comfort their soldiers in Comfort house. And depositor will give me impression of a bank where people deposite cash. Iphone station will be linked with Jobes, the great merchant who invented smart Iphone. As to CD will be misunderstood as a music studio. At last, the Quality time will absolutely confused me. If I bump into such place, please trust me, I would resort to nature toilet instead of rushing into it.
But I think the picture on the door of toilet must be helpful. Like music, this is a world language. The picture you post is narrative. interesting.

For instance, Comfort station will definiteHaha yeah, in situations where we cannot wait any longer, and facing these confusing toilet names, it is better to resort to nature and do it the ancient way.
