Yesterday evening My friend and I went to the famous English Corner in Renmin University of China. The weather was not very good last night, cold and windy. I at first thought there wouldn't be too many people because of the bad weather. But when I arrived , I found in surprise that there were at least 100 people. Many groups had formed, most of which consist of Chinese, but there were also some foreigners. I felt happy to see this scene, for I had been trapped in the traffic jam for nearly an hour on the way to the RUC, but then I found it's totally worth it.
Firstly my friend and I just dick around and didn't know how to join a group. But finnally we found a group which was composed of a Swedish boy and several Chinese students. It was a shame that I didn't say much because I found myself could hardly say a full sentence. That really made me a little frustrated because there were so many students that spoke English fluently. So this time again I realised my ignorance. But I know Rome isn't built in one day. Now I know I'm just at the beginning, and I still have a lot to work on. Anyway, I will persist untill I succeed.
