I doubt there are seldom people who still write mails by pen now. Because of the Internet, the Web, and the fast food life style, we all like something fast. Writing a mail by pen sounds like a stupid, at least non-fashion way.

But I don't believe it. When you are faced with a blank paper, while holding a pen, your mind will become calm and peaceful, and you always feel that there are so many things deserved to note down. Your thoughts will be traveling through your past times, vague memories will become clear and vivid. You can have a deeper talk to your inner soul, like the questions as "what am I gonna do in the next 1 week, or 1 month, even next 1 year?", "Am I on the right track?", "What is my final destination of my life?",etc. Something deeper than the normal life appears in your head, and you are ready to answer them, and you won't face it with any masks. So, constantly talking to yourself is a good way to review yourself.

What's more, you can have a summary for your past times. "Did I do that thing correct?", "Did I really hurt him when I was shouting to him at that moment? ",etc. The little piece of fragment about your life will be connected together at that time.

I have been writing mails to my girl friend by pen for 4 weeks, and got 4 reply mails for return, we simply call it "weekly report". I like it that way. I love to review myself constantly and have more energy each time I finish the mail. Also, it is a recorder of my life, which will note down my every single detail of thoughts, mature or immature. When I am old in the future, I can unfold the mails to remember my younger times. That is cool.
