Nowadays, we have a lot of things to do on the Internet. Basically It can be described as following categories:

1. Surf the web to acquire daily news.
   
2. On-line communications with IM (Instant Messaging) tools
3. Play on-line games in the virtual world, or download movies, music just for fun.
   
4. On-line e-business operations. 
5. Get the answers to your questions like Google, Baidu, etc.
6. Learning specific things from Internet.
   

I have to say, for most of us, we mainly use Internet just 10 percent of its true value.  Internet is born with much more value than those said above, except for #4, #6, with 90% of us just are using it narrowly. I am not saying that we cannot get knowledge from the web, nor can we chat with each other nor drown ourselves in the games. I am saying we should have the right attitude towards Internet.

For most of us, Internet itself is just a tool for us, not the whole of us.

I suppose many of you, like me, are on the Internet without any ideas about what we should do. It's becoming a bad habit when, we start our computer and login the Internet, and keep idle. I hate that. I don't want to waste my time on the meaningless things, reading nonsense, or  hunting something exciting for my eyes.

For the time we back from work and get home, It's our choice to read books, relax ourselves into something calm and peace, like music, rather than something bored or whatever would flirt with our hearts. I know the society is not 100% percent good, meanwhile I have to face with something dirty or unfairly, but I can choose to get rid of them from my mind, as if they never exists. I need to nurture myself to become sunshine minded, optimistic way towards life, and remain the true happiness deep in myself. I realize that with more time I am on the Internet, more unpeaceful and impatient my mind is. That's too bad. I must stop it, stop it.

Internet itself is a tool, another way of speaking, it is the wide and deep ocean of materials. So I suppose the correct usage for Internet is just use it when we really need it. And close it when we do not need it. I don't know if all of your guys would turn off your computers or not when you are done with that. But for me, Internet has consumed all of my spare time. I must change this as early as possible.

Indeed, there are a lot of things we need to do when we are are idle. Try talking with your mate/parents, share your ideas with them, read a book to them, enjoy peaceful music, etc. I don't recommend watching TV, for it's another time killer. One negative side for TV set is that, we are negatively receiving information rather than active thinking when we are watching it. I always believe, except for something educational programs, most of the programs are making us more and more foolish, not more and more clever.

Turn off our televisions, our computers, let our spare time come back like the way they were.
