This was the first time I went to a big hosipital by an ambulance. Even though I am not the injured, the particular sound of the ambulance really made me nervous and anxiety. The thing happend likethis:
After supper, I came back to dormitory. At the gate of our building, I heard some classmates surrounded the custodian office saying that one classmate had fell down from the upper bed, and had lost a lot of blood. Then, all kinds of people arrived at the scene, the school police office man, the school doctor and many students. But none of them are helpful. The so called school doctor said that they didn't have an ambulance today and he didn't know how to stop bleeding. They all just standed and screamed it was badly. My classmates was still bleeding pretty bad. Neither can we contacted with our teacahers and instructors for they all had go to home far away from school. Finally one instructor answered the phone, she shouted out loudly:" Why did you call me, you should call 120, I am outside now!" It was so cold. Our heart frozed. Sometimes, when you need other's help, no one will come up.
Finally, the outside ambulance arrived. We three girls and one boy accompanyed the injured classmate to the hospital. The doctors only told us to register and pay money , and every procedure need to hand money first. They didn't looked at us and didn't even borther to tell us how to go to each station. We pushed the anbulance there and where and waited for long. No one took notice of us.
At that time, we felt very helpless and depressed We were just students and we had never experienced this kind of emergence thing before. We seldom went to big hospital and don't know how to haddle the complicated procedures. And we worried about how to get the large amout of money at such a short time. Why didn't have anyone to give us a hand? Why?
Anyway,Thanks God! My classmate didn't hurt serious, but had to stay at the hospital for checking. Now, two of classmates are accompanying with her! I pray that she would recovery soon, amen!
