GDP Expected to Rise by 8% in 2010

413 views. 2010-3-5 12:05 |Individual Classification:News|

Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao delivered his Government Work Report this morning in this year's People's National Congress.

He announced the mainly expected targets for China's social and economic development in the year of 2010, among which China's GDP is expected to rise by 8%, more than 9 million people will be employed in cities and towns, the registered unemployment rate will be controlled within 4.6%, and the increase rate of CPI(consumer price index) will remain at 3%.

The excessive increase of housing price in parts of cities will be curbed firmly to meet people's basic living demands.

The selling of house contributes a lot to the growth of GDP, government also draws a lot of interests from selling land. If house price decreases, it will cause chain reaction to many other industries relating to real estate.
We hope the house price will drop down, but in the government's inner heart, this must be prevented,or the 8% increase of GDP will not be reached in 2010. We can only expect that the price of house will be stable.
Politicians are mostly liars~~~
