The famous economist, Lang Xianping, came to Qingdao, Shangdong province, to give lectures on economy yesterday, which blew a whirlwind in the coastal city.
Lang, 50 something this year, is dubbed the "Academic Superman ", just like Mr. Yi Zhongtian who is famous for his TV lectures on The Three Kingdoms. Lang is so popular in China that many people like to attend his lecture. He gains his fame by his sharp points of view, humorous style and his passion. With these characters, he also attracts many female fans. It is said that Shanghai women have got three hobbies--LV, Cartier and Lang Xianping.
The 3-NOs--no photos, no videos and no comments on blogs--is what Mr. Lang asks all attendees not to do before the beginning of his lecture. Yesterday, he told the audience how to invest their money. He suggested that 30% of the savings should be spent to buy US dollars and he admitted that he made profits every year in this way.
When it comes to his ability to make money, he is also a superman. During his two-day stay in Qingdao, he will earn 500,000 yuan by giving three lectures, according to the local media.

- For me, i just partly agree with him.I appreciate his bravery in disclosing some scandals in companies management, fianance.
But I don't agree that all companies in the Chinese stock market are cheating and Chinese stock is just like a casino without value of investment. In investment, i'd like accept some advice from the investors, rather than a professor, such as Warren Buffet, China's Duan Yongping etc.
