My reflection of Roman holiday
Last Sunday I saw the movie ROMAN HOLIDAY, which is quite famous all around the world.
Once mentioning this film you can not prevent the lovely Princess Anne.
This film tells the story about Princess Anne’s one-day-wander in Rome during her royal visit to Europe .The young and childish princess was quite tired of her crowed schedule, so she escapes from the embassy house the night she got to Rome .As she was given some medicine to make her sleep, she fell asleep on the avenue. A kind journalist-Joe Bradley, who is played by Gregory Peck, took her back home .The next day, Joe finds that the drunken girl he helped was the very person- Princess Anne -he would interview that day. Intending to earn a big sum of money, he decided to keep the secret and make a feature-story himself .During the time they wander in Rome; the two fell in love with each other. But Anne had to leave him and go back to the embassy.
Anne: I hate this nightgown and I hate all y nightgowns.
Maid: My dear, you have lovely things.
Anne: But I’m not 200 years old!
Though she is the princess and shoulders a lots of burdens, she is also a young girl, she longs for a normal life.
Anne’s poem: If I were dead and buried and I heard your voice beneath the sod, my heart of dust would still rejoice……
What the world needs is a return to sweetness and decency in souls of it’s of its young men……
Arethusn rose from her couch of snows in the Acroceraunian Mountains ……
All this poems suggests that, Anne loves poems very much and she has the nature of a poet. And just because of this ,the lovely princess take a risk .

- A perfect retrospect of that classic movie it is.The figures in this movie has become the signal of beauty,free and reform of that confusing time.Nowadays,people sill can gain more inspiration from it than othre modern films.Compared with Roman Holiday,the majority of films nowadays are just dwarfs which are lacking of great playwright and great actors.

- Samaritan: I like the film and it's kind of romantic.I like the film a lot ,that I have seen it many times .What's more I like Hepburn more than her films .She is more than beautiful,her personnality attrcts me strongly.She is really an angel on the earth .We all are so lucky to ever have her.

- lingering: Hepburn is a graceful woman.once she said,"I'd love to pass away gracefully."She managed to do that.Why our angel leaves us so early? I think the Gods love her film too much!
