This is a an abstract from Anderson Fairy Tales.
In a single instant,can the consciousness of the sin that has been committed in thoughts,words,and actions of our past life,be unfolded to us.When once the conscience is awakened,it springs up in the spontaneously,and God awakens the conscience when we least expect it.then we can find no excuse for ourselves. The deed is there and bears witness against us.The thought seen to be become words,and to sound far out into the world.We are horrified at the thought of what we have carried within us.and at the consciousnesss that we have not overcome the evil which has its origin in thoughtlessness and pride.The heart conceals within itself the vices as well as the virtues,and they grow in the shallowest ground.
those days I’d love to read the English version - Anderson Fairy Tales,which is from electronic dictionary.just not as profound as some English original works and novels.but I'm easily lost in it.
Just like I give the example,so simple words you can read enough.I found that I can grasp its meaning in general.but it is difficult to express it exactly in Chinese,and make it translated into beautiful Chinese languge.just like some philosophic words.yah! a limited command of English.Confusing~

- I think we must learn both source language and target language well if we want to translate in high level. Even in Chinese, we couldn't creat such philosophic passages, how can we translate it from English?
