Left here for about three months, and, now, I come back! for what? just a word- Perseverence.
"Make English as a tool." Nick told me that. i always keep it in my mind. although working in a real English environment, i speak Chinese much more than English. Actually, I can catch many opportunities to speak English, but I didn't. I am changing, definitely!
As days going on, i can always learn some new expressions from the foreign teacher every single day. Tim called me "bouncy girl". i didn't understand that when i first heard it. Then Tim input the word in Google Picture, showing me different colorful ball with big smile face. "You always look so happy and full of energy!" Finally, I got it~ you can imagine how happy I am to receive such comments from my colleague. Wow, life is so beatiful~praise and compliment are really a strong power for human. So, I got "Bouncy Girl"!
Another day, Alexandra got a new hairstyle. I could hardly recognize her. the word "spirit" came to me first. it was totally chin-english. I asked Vicky-a native teacher for advice. she told me that "you look so smart with you new hairstyle" is well expressed. Haha, a great way to summarize my studyings!
"No more lucky draw" from Nick at our New Year Party.
"How's it going? stressed out?" asked by Russel every time he sees me in the office.
........
Feel happy with so many excellent teachers!
