You are made from superior wood and embedded with pretty decoration.

You ought to be a focus in this nation；

And be praised by every one located；

And be displayed on the place where the most significant articles located.

But now, unfortunately,

You are standing there, quet and lonely.

Longing to be noticed, into waiting to be peered.

For all and all, you are forbidden to show your fair.

I bring you here,

But now left you at the corner.

Desolated from the world.

How I wish to see your authentic face,

And tell them that you are not just wonderful on the surface.

What indeed in your inside heart?

Desirious I am to know.

Is there a valuable object inside? A Treasure?

Is there a magic inside? A curse?

There is no locker

Nothing is easier than to unfold your woolen cover.

Curiosity is licking up my reason.

My thoughts are now focusing seriously on it.

My eyes are glaring on nothing but its cracks

My heart is beating almost out of my thorax

My hands long to disobey the words of Zeus.

I must open it and see

For impatient pressures from every cells of my body disturbed me.

The desire is so intense that I can bear it no more

Even there is Satan inside.

Nothing can keep me from what my uncontrolled curiosity decides.

After i finish reading the Greek myths, this poem was born. It is my first English poem and i chose the prespective of Pandora, the first woman in the world and bring sorrow and troubles to human. i describe her psycology as she was hesitating whether to open the box or not.
