I ever heard people say that “When you need it, you regret that you read so few books.” Now, I should say that “When I need it, I am confused where my time is going?”
I really have no idea why I feel time flies so quickly. Usually, I could read at least 20 pages English novel every single day. But now, I can hardly finish 10 pages. What a mystery! Does it because this book I’m reading is more difficult? Maybe that is sort of a reason. Uncle Tom’s Cabin has so many words that I’d never met, it utterly slows down my reading speed to a certain extent. However, I don’t think it is the decisive cause.
Does it because I’m practicing at DioEnglish? It indeed cost me some time, but I also went to surf the Internet before I got this internship. And what’s more, I also watched several sessions of American plays. But now, I watch less plays than usual, and my efficiency of reading is lower than before.
When I was trying so hard to find an internship opportunity, I felt full of enthusiasm. But now, I felt low efficiency in everything. Am I a frog thrown into warm water, or it is my fancy? Guys, how do you think of that? Have you ever experienced a similar situation? Please share your thought with me.
