Last night, the fog was so heavy that I could not see other people clearly even we were close to each other.
I went back with my classmates. When looked back, we saw some people walk in the same way, and the scene was so terrifying that we thought it was just like in a horror movie.
And it was hard to breath.

By the way, I think you shoud change the word "scarify" to "terrifying" or "frightening". And a "scary movie" is usually say "horror film". I find these in a dictionary, hope can help you. Let's learn from each other.
