delayed flight experience

This week, i took a flight from Hangzhou to Guangzhou, but unfortunately, when i was waiting in the departure lounge, i heard an announcement about my flight saying like that "May i take your attention please, passenger, the flight CZ3025 from Hangzhou to Guangzhou is delayed due to the delayed arrival, the expected departure time is 19:45.". I felt upset for the delay, because waiting in the departure lounge was so boring and i had to rush to catch the shuttle bus when i arrived in Guangzhou, and it let me recall another delayed experience in Xiamen where i got a free dinner as a compensation for the delay. Just be curious, i searched the compensation information about the delayed flight and got the result like that: for most of the delay you can not get compensation except the delay occurs by the plane itself such as the problem related to the machinery.
