Free admission to museums
Nowadays more and more museums are beginning to open to public without ticket fee with an aim at enabling more citizens, old and young, to contact with art and culture directly. It will help educate the public and make their lives colourful. By visiting the museums frequently, they will become more civilized which will improve our society in turn.
However, this action also brings some harm: with the large number of visitors coming and going and taking pictures, the museums become very crowded and get dirty quickly, thus the priceless treasure displayed is threatened.
Therefore, some people disapprove this action, stating it as not worthwhile. But in my opinion, the free access to museums certainly will do more good than harm. As for the harmful aspects, we can reduce to minimun, for example restricting the daily number of visitors, setting some specific days for museums' maintainence. Hence, we will still be able to keep the museums in good order.
