Religion Dilemma

905 views. 2009-12-17 22:44 |Individual Classification:Life

People always say Chinese people don't have religion. And that results in the lack of caring for humanity. Do we trust only reason and logic or take less regard of mental calmness, sympathy, love?
People who believe in Christianity tell me if you believe God, then it exists. One of my classmates also said to me if she weren't a Christian, she would still sacrifice some part of her reason to gain the ultimate concern for life.
Do Chinese people really don't have religion? My math teacher once said he belives in the existence of an unknown force which is out of human control. Does he mean sometimes we are helpless, although we spare no effort?
Religion is a formal ceremory to worship the God in heart. My heart doesn't want to be bounded to any kind of belif. To commit myself to religion is to commit my freedom to a mysterious force. But I do think high of religion, admire the holy atmosphere of church and look forward to the soothing feeling that something will always be with you!
