How time flies! I have had classes for one week, that is to mean, I am a senior virtually, although I am not willing to be one.

As a senior, I have only five classes a week. In other words, I have plenty of spare time beyond you can imagine and I can coordinate my own time as I like. Whereas almost one class in the middle of day except the weekend, so it is not convenient for us to undertake our own works. In that case, most of my classmates suggest that teachers should arrange all five classes in a day so that we can improve our efficiency of making preparations for our future, no matter searching for a job, taking graduate examination or pursuing further study overseas. As school has its own rules, our complaints make no difference and we have to take a class worthy of 80yuan everyday.

Classmates say” being a senior means that we are the master of the university and we can do whatever we want regardless of others’ views.” In fact, we are just a group of “old men and women” compared with the lower classmates. We have so much things to ponder and to accomplish, and so many responsibilities to take that we have no mood and time to enjoy being the master of school. As to” we can do whatever we want”, there is doubt about it. Yesterday evening, we have been demanded to participate in the election of the president of Student Union of our department as voters. So, in a sense, as soon as I become a senior, “freedom” and “privilege” are far away from me.

At this moment, faith and fear coexist in every senior. Referring to faith, we all have our dreams and strongly believe that if we stick to it and try our best; someday we will be pay back. As for fear, it is simply understood. Although we have faith, we still can not predict what future have in store for us. To most of us, the future is a mystery. Apart from that, we still show a little fear and curiosity about the fact when we are walking in the school, we scarcely meet anyone familiar. Only when we have classes, will the peace come back; yes, that’s the group which I belong to!

Having been a senior for a week, I’m still in the process of adjusting myself to the varied environment. I hope soon I will get used to it.
