Xiamen, choose 18 primary schools as teaching projects, covering more than 10000 students, the purpose to promote the Minnan dialect and culture.

- Tell me something more about it. It is really a good start as well as a hard work.In my opinion,Minnan dialect is not under threats now.Why government incorporate it into school curriculum.Has the promotion of standard Chinese affected the using of Minnan dialect? If no,then what esle reason?

- dialect is one of the most important part of the local culcure. we should make it alive forever. so i thing the dicision made by the government is right and encouraged.
