What do the couples really expect
“I love you.” These are the words from young couples frequently. But what is love. It is not only the romance beside the sea with the stars shining above or wandering around together in a nice park, but, I think, it is of responsibility, a steady relationship, and above all, a sense of security.
What the couples really want is the security from his/her other part. And it can be classified as the spiritual security and the material security.
Your beloved chose you because she felt safety when staying with you. She believes that you will still beside her when everything’s gone. She will sure you must be on her side as the time she complains instead of keeping your one eye open and close another. That is the spiritual one.
In our era, more or less, the youngsters’ choices depend on the amount of assets of their couples. In fact, they are also for the sense of security which can be called material security. This can be accepted because no one could create a happy life with an empty stomach. A reasonable asset pursuit is fine, but going too far is absolutely undesirable.
The most virtual of that sense is the faithfulness to him/her. That is the foundation to enjoy an eternal love. The promising on the churches that no matter… I will..., no matter… I must…, are the make-up words catering for that circumstance. The God which wits the couples in the churches could felt embarrassed if he saw the divorce rates. There is hardly a woman who can accept her husband’s one night love, and no man will like his beloved getting too close with other males. What she/he depends is not what you say but what you do.
So, working hard to maintain both of you, and take care of him/her.
As a single of myself, I will hear your suggestions.
