In October 2009, I had my first blog in Reader.com as the name 栀白

　　In January 2010, I registered in Dioenglish.com as the name “bluebird”.

　　One year ago I got too busy to visit here.

　　Nowadays the Reader blog has been blocked indefinitely.

　　Returning to Dioenglish today, I left the same comment “hope you well” on spaces of several old friends.

　　Unforgettable are past 3 years when I communicated fervently with Huckabee, Sedgehead and “bigbread”, when I wrote a preface for “ly. identity”’s publication of collected blogs, and when “snowflying” insisted on sending me money at my first lonely New Year…

　　How many of the old names remain here and how many names can remain in our minds? Some have graduated from colleges, some have started a new way of life, and some keep in touch with me as real friends.

　　It’s a changing era. Our zest turns from blog to microblog (weibo), and then to weixin without the labour of typing words at all.

　　What kind of love can last?

　　I’ve also changed a lot, and gone are the days when I could stick before the computer and await mom to call me for dinner. However, every time the rainy night falls quietly, and every time crowds are not by my side, my old love for words revives. And I find continual newcomers who love English as we used to.

　　I’ll try to resume English blogging weekly before my mastery of the language falls completely.

　　We’re all new and old.

　　We all have history and tomorrow.
