Missing <<Ugly Betty>> beforehand~~~I love Betty from the bottom of my heart  !

             First, I have to say that America is really a realistic country ,which can be specifically seen in its treatments to the dramas, i believe that most Chinese who ever studied english will have a knowledge of american dramas. Yeah , it's a miracle, you can have a better understanding of the american life from those dramas in every aspect of USA. No matter the <<Prison Break>>、<<Desperate Housewives>>、<<Friends>>、<<Gossip Girl>> or something else.... You can tell that american dramas provide us with not only the broad platform to study english , but also a good way to realize what the real international life  is——experience this just from the tv programmes, how amazing！
           

              Since suffering the pressure of study, i only watch the dramas in the limited spare time when in university, recently i have been keeping the pace with the updates of <<Lie To Me>> and <<Ugly Betty>>,sometimes paying attention to <<Gossip Girl>>and <<Desperate Housewives>>.
             

               I like <<Ugly Betty>>the best among all the dramas i have watched, not because of the fashion elements presented by the drama, absolutely not! But the way the american shows its theme. You can just search the basic information of the name on the internet —Ugly Betty——first version was directed in Colombia.... Then it made a flourish all over the world——it has been adapted into dramas in more than 35 countries such as German、Netherlands 、India.....Of course....China.....
               You can see the pictures of all types of betties......But you can tell the one common point——betty is actually a beautiful girl, howerver ugly she looks at first, she will turn pretty and marry to her boss in the end.

              Except in one version——american version. I am not kissing the USA's ass, i just want to tell you how shock i was when i got to know more about the american Betty.
              I appreciate the Colombian version because it is original and it shows the theme very clearly——even not-good looking girls can obtain success at work and happiness in families through hard work. The american Betty——let me call her real name——America——is not so beautiful judging from the angle of "American Beauties", and unlike the other versions, she will not suddenly turn into the most beautiful girl in her company and get married to her boss..... She is an independent woman and she always strives for more acknowledgement no matter at work or in love. She never dreams of being like a Cinderella in the fashion world. She only believes in hard work and herself,so she gets every step to be an editor. And years after she gets in the magazine <<Mode>>, she keeps on her dress style. She dates with an accountant, a delivery service, a sports journalist and so on. She mellowed in the process of experiencing failures. You may sometimes laugh, smile , cry , think over something when watching it...

              But the truth is...I can not see Betty any more...after April this year because the drama will be cut off by ABC television station ,because of the drop of the audience. I wonder if any of you guys has ever watched <<Joey>>,the following drama of <<Friends>>....I laugh even more in this drama than in <<Friends>>, you can guess what, it was cut off after only 2 seasons for the same reason as Betty's. It you have ever seen the Chinese drama called <<Love Apartment>> also <<Ai Qing Gong Yu>>in chinese, you can find that many of the details are copied from <<Joey>>( some from <<friends>>, but <<Ai Qing Gong Yu>> is really a hit in china ( of course the writer adds many chinese elements into it ) like that <<Ugly Betty>>is very hot in China too.
           

               I just sometimes don't get the reasons why the differences?Why the americans don't like Betty now as they did before?
