The road near my new apartment was just reconstructed one year ago, paved with pitch. It was an enjoyable experience for me to ride my motorcycle across the street in the past. These days, however, it's no longer a happy jouney for me to cross it, for the road is full of bumps and hollows. So I have to be more cautious, as I would be tripped over the bumps and crash to the ground. The situation gets worse in the rainy day, while there are many tiny pools filled with rainwater, it is more dangerous for the motorcyclist to go through, because of the pitches hidden below the water.
There are many heavy trucks carrying with stones or sand go fro and to on the road. The trucks are usually overloaded while the road is not originally designed for such load. Therefor, apparently, the road would be destructed by those carriers sooner or later. Actually there is a
highway administration bureau in our city, but it seems not to work. I never saw a truck being punished by the regulator, nor the servants appearing on this road. I don't know what's their daily work, I just have spotted several broken roads around, which were built in less than a year.
No doubt, many damaged roads will be reconstructed, for the awful conditions like this one, and then they will be destroyed again, which act just like an endless circle. I am told that this road has been rebuilt for many times. The period has a weird coincidence with the term of the municipal office. Every time there comes a new mayor, there will be new civil engineerings.
