When I was young,I saw my grandmother had cupping on her knees,it is called eliminate humidity (去湿气) 。

Yesterday I have cupping on my back; the physical therapy technician put fourteen cups on the different parts of my back;four on the should and the others on the back and waist.This process hold about fifteen minutes,after put the cups down, there were fourteen gore speckles on my back  which looks like some bruise.In one word: it is cool !

    Modern medical thought that cupping will creat negative pressure which can enlarge the local blood vessel,promote the circulation of local blood so as to improve the body resistibility.Our ancients onec used bamboo cup but now glass bottle instead of it.
