Last night, at 6:45 pm, the daily meeting was over and I left the office. At 7:21 pm, the Bus 517 came and I got on the bus, heading toward stop of Martyrs Cemetery.

       There were only a few passengers. Maybe it’s because the rush hours had passed. I took a seat in front, which set face to face to the opposite ones. The bus moved forward, carrying me into the world of light. In my destination stop, there were two persons waiting for me: Jelly and Haiyan. “Hey! Why not a feast to celebrate that all of us have passed the TEM-8!!! ” Jelly said in her message at noon. Yes, the result for TEM-8 was released on 6th June.

“妹子，专八成绩出了，木有准考证…” At 11:00 am on 6th June, Jelly’s message distracted me from my work. My heart gave a leap at that moment. TEM-8…Will I pass it? If, if, if not, then what I should do?...

“有十六个不过的…我害怕” three minutes later, here came another message. Sixteen out of fifteen…a big number…I found I failed to concentrate on anything expect TEM-8.

“太后 你73我66 妞我们及格了 最高分75 今晚想见你们庆祝一下吖！” I smiled. Seventy-three, much higher than I had expected. I let out a scream, stood up, rushed toward Yan, gave her a tight hug from back. She was surprised by my behaviours:”咩事咩事！”

“我专八过了！~~~” I cried.

“哇！甘犀利！恭喜噻！～”

Then, I ran back to my seat, sent a message to Mama, Aunt Yan, Aunt Mei, Emma, Li Yaohua…

I couldn’t believe that in the morning I sent “Morning, I miss you” to Jelly and got her reply “we can meet the day after today”, but at night, we were able to meet each other and celebrate our TEM-8! Thus, please don’t laugh me if you spot me singing along the songs in MP3 and laugh with myself on the bus. Outside the building was replaced by another building, street another street, but the smile didn’t wipe itself off my face. Here, in the Martyrs Cemetery, I had two beloved friends waiting for me.

And on 5th of June, at 7:30 pm, I left the office also with a smile.

“I want you to be in charge of a project… I am going to employ more one girl to help you with the project. What are your requirements?”  

Tomorrow, Jelly, Haiyan and I are going to find another hours, a house belongs to us three only.
