“Want to eat something special tonight?” at 5:35 pm, I called Haiyan. Mr. Ho was at business this afternoon and I was free from meetings. I could come back home early and cook dinner.

        “No. I am packaging at this moment. I’m going back home.” Here came Haiyan’s answer.

        I was surprised. She told me that she was waiting for an interview before sleeping last night, but how came that she’s leaving at this moment?

        “No special reason. I just wake from nap and then suddenly I am seized with an idea that I want to go back.”

        “I see. Then leave the house as soon as possible. Otherwise it will be too late to go back.” I understood what she meant by “suddenly I was seized with an idea”. Everyone has this moment. I experience it also. When the feeling comes, you just find them so overwhelming that you can resist them. And also, Haiyan must be very tired these days, after continuous written exams and face-to-face interview. Having a rest is good for her.

        As for our full house plan, we can do nothing but wait, wait till the day we are able to offer the rent.

       I haven’t told you before—our full house plan. Jelly, Haiyan and I want to live under a eave so that every time when we drag the exhaust legs back, there are smiles waiting for us. Unfortunately, after searching for two weeks on the internet and calling several phone calls and doing two-day field work, we realize how crude the fact is: with our limited small budget, it’s impossible for us to rent a house between Jelly’s and my companies. At first, we wanted to have a house with three bed-rooms, one living room, one balcony, one kitchen, one toilet, and also with fridge, TV, internet, washing machines and on and on and on; later, we changed into two bed-rooms, one balcony, one kitchen, one toilet, and with internet, beds, water heater only; at last, our list only includes one big bed room, no living room, no balcony but with heater only. But then, we ask ourselves, does it worth? Even we are lucky to find a big bed room, the price is still high for us. Even we manage to pay the rent, we have to take the bus for more than half of an hour before arriving the company.

       “Remain the same. How does it sound?” Jelly suggested.

       “En, and have get-together every weekend in your hours, or mine.” I added.

       “En.” Agreed Haiyan.
