There was time I liked to wear the black long hair. Mama likes me in long hair, too. “It makes you look more girlish.” was Mama’s words. And maybe that’s also the reason why I like long hair. But things change when my hair began turning fizzy and brown. Fizzy and brown hair looks no longer beautiful any more, but uncomfortable. Thus, the impulse to do a haircut is irresistible; and I followed the impulse: work’s over at 6:09. Left the office, found a salon and do the haircut. “Cut them shorter.” Then my hair becomes shorter, much shorter.

            The hairdresser wanted to “dress” my hair. “Drying and perm can achieve a better effect, believe me.” the so-call senior hairdresser said. I believe what he said, but my purpose didn’t allow me to take action. Thus, even though the price went down from 520 rmb to 250 rmb, I couldn’t do it. I could tell there was despise in the dressers’ and waiters’ tones when I uttered “No, I need neither drying nor perm. Let’s be it.” Then I paid the bill and left.

            I screamed to Jelly and Li Yaohua at the phone. I hate being despised. But I don’t hate them, that’s not their false. Of course, that not my false. Now, just let them despise and let me scream. All I need is a shorter and cleaner chair. That’s all.

            Don’t know what other will say regarding my short hair for even I don’t know how to comment. Like it? No. Hate it? No. Then, just be it. I am going back home tomorrow evening after work, to celebrate the Dragon-Boat Festival with Mama and Papa. Haha, with my new look~

            “Looks nice.” That will be Papa’s comments when I ask him how he thinks of my new hairstyle.

            “Why you cut them such short?” will be Mama’s.
