All of them have gone to bed: Haiyan and Junyi. A little sleepy, but still want to finish today’s writing.
It’s my first day in GZ after the graduation. Though I am no longer a student after June 29th, it is working in GZ that forces me to face this fact. At 8:50 am, I was still among those who come to office earliest. Yan was sitting before her seat, enjoying her breakfast. Amy’s desk is empty: she hasn’t arrived yet. The office of Technical Dept. was dark. None of them had come back and thus no one turned on the lights. After greeting to Yan, I went straight toward my desk, the one behind Amy’s. Then, my first working day after graduation began. Nothing seemed to be changed, but somehow everything had changed.
The whole day was a tolerance. I was sleepy in the morning. So sleepy that I put my arms on the desk, buried my head into the arms and took a nap. At that time, Mrs. Summer was in her own office. Yan, Cathy and Amy focused on their own business. No one paid any attention to the one who was sitting in the backside. Then, my stomach was so empty that I felt like I was going to faze at 6:18 pm. I had finished today’s work but they didn’t. I dared not to be the first one to leave the office. I had to wait, wait, wait, wait for Yan’s leave, wait for Mrs. Summer’s coming. However, the time finally came when I could not wait any more. I gave a call to Junyi and invited her to have supper together.
Thus, at 6:20 pm, I left the office. It’s nice the sun was still in the sky, casting its last sunshine upon the roads. Almost every time I went back, there was only nights waiting for me. But this time it’s different. It’s sunshine. And against the sunshine, there was Haiyan standing before the store.
“Why are you here!?” I rushed toward her and gave her a big hug.
“I told you before~ I will begin working from tomorrow!” said Haiyan.
I am lucky. Though far away from home, far away from campus, but my friends, my best friend are always with me. Tonight, we ate the pig-leg rice together, went shopping together, cooked Russian soup together, drank light wine together, watched Happy Camp together, and slept together. It’s good to be with friends.
Besides, today’s my first payday. All together 2o22.5 rmb. Not a big amount. But big enough to fill my mind with happiness. From today on, I am able to live by myself.
“Mama, I’ve got my first payment!” I told Mama through the phone.
“Really? It’s good. Take care of your money and don’t spend them in unnecessary tiny little things.”
“Yes, I will. And you know what, I am trying to save one thousand yuan every month so that I can have enough money to take care of you~”
“Yo, be careful of what you say. With such a little salary, it will be a comfort if you can take good care of yourself. Not alone take care of me and your Papa.”
“Mama, don’t speak in that way. You should be confident with your daughter, don’t you? Give me some confidence!”
“Ok, ok, ok. Then dear daughter, please work hard.” Pretended seriousness.
“But Mama, can’t you not be angry with Papa? Papa called me just now and he told everything to me.”
Mama left Shantou on Saturday morning, with one of my big and heavy bag. When she reached Huizhou, she called Papa for help. But due to some misunderstanding, Papa failed to meet Mama at the bus stop. Mama had to drag the bag to home with her own. And she didn’t speak a word Papa anymore…Besides this, I learnt that Papa had a tough time with another five packages of mine. I send five big packages back to Huizhou the day before yesterday through express. One of them were books, with the weight of 27 kg. Papa pulled the boxes up to the four floors alone. “They almost killed me.” this was Papa’s words…
“Mama, can you forgive Papa? He did go to meet you at the bus station but unfortunately you two missed. And Papa helped with my another five packages today. It’s not easy for Papa. Don’t be angry with Papa, can you?”
Before answering, Mama laughed. Then I knew everything was going to be ok. If my packages broke my family, I would not ship them back to home and threw them instead…

And I don't think my boss should be the one to blame, instead, I appreciate the chances he gives me to learn, and to grow up.
