“You cannot betray me.” I said.

It was a rainy Saturday afternoon. Feng was doing the quotation. I went into the technical department office and seated myself in the chair neary him. It was the day to take a rest and every one had left one after another. It was the day to say goodbye because Amy, the girl I met on my first day in this office, quited the job and she LEFT the company. Even though there were thousands of reasons for her quiting, the feeling was so strong and so real—she left the company without giving me any info. “You are nobody to me. Why should I tell you my decision?” Was this what she thought? I felt angry at these words but anger was not able to deny the truth in these words.

So, in such a Saturday afternoon, I went into the office and sat down. Tony liked him very much. But somehow Feng failed to impress other.

“You cannot betray me.” I said to Feng. I didn’t want him to be the second Amy.

He smiled. While typing the keyboard, without looking at me, he said:”Why should I betray you?”

But today, he quited. No goodbye. He just quited and I just got the news from Xiao Dong. And yes he quited, but he doesn’t betray me. Perhaps my trust for him could not be found any longer since one month ago. Seriousness and meticularity is vital for anyone who is engaged in technical job. However, Feng careless attitudes made a lot of mistake. So many mistakes that not only QC manager Summer but me, began to doubt every feagure he gave us. So finally, Tony felt disappointed at him. Thus, though it’s ture he has left, he doesn’t betray me. Betrayal is based on trust; no trust, no disappointment; no trust, no betrayal.

Even so, my mind went empty for seconds at the news. But compared with the disappointment of Tony and the sadness of William, mine is nothing.
