It’s clear, what I want to do.
For a product, it has research&production, trading, distribution mainly three parts to go. I don’t wanna stay in trading nor distribution part; I wanna focus on research&production section. Of course, if these three are combined and can be found in one company, that’s perfect. Why research&production? Because it touches one particular area and thus must involve one particular area’s English. Prefessornal Englsih, not general, not hello, hi nor bye.
How to acquire this English? To register a course for car or real estate or engineering English? Not workable for me. it’s a good idea to learn these terms now since I am free every moment. However, it will be good to get it by using it. To find a job that acquires the usuage of this English, that’s what I think. But a question comes: is there a company who will hire a guy without any background knowledge and need time to learn it before she is able to use it? Who? Actually, I don’t know. Often an idea comes to my mind: work as a appretice at workshop, learn it by seeing and prasticing the machines and processes. - -, they will say I am crazy if I do so, but I save this idea to the last moment.
So, I wanna work as an English assistant or secretary. For one thing, to learn and use some particular area’ English; for another one, by observation and involvement, to learn how to organize a programn or manage a project. Work for that direction. Li Yaohua doesn’t think this a good idea. For translation for professional materials, companies prefer those skilled technicians with ok English, not a know-nothing Englsih major with a TERM 8 certificate. I agreed. But, I’m not going to do nothing for this. Li also commented if I’m lucky enough to be employed by a company/factory, the work will be very challenging and tiresome. I don’t know for this point. But I want to try it instead of doing nothing for it. At least, I’m 23 this year and still have time to take a try.
The answer to what I wanna do has thrilled me a lot. And yesterday afternoon, when sorted out the answer, I went to the downtown (I’m in Panyu district now) and bought five cakes and a cup of milktear to celebrate with myself. Though what I wanna do differs what I wanna be, at least I got an answer for one.
