My blue eyes
So, I don't understand a lot of Chinese but I understand more than I can speak.
Today on the way to work via subway, I had a small boy entranced with me. Which isn't anything strange for me. I'm almost 2 meters tall, white, and don't look like a Beijinger. But this boy was amazed with my pale blue eyes. He got really close and I let him look into my eyes. He kept asking his mother, 'Why does he have blue eyes?" His mother said something I couldn't understand. He told his mother that they were beautiful. I don't think they're anything special. I wish I had green eyes, now those are special.
Anyways, it put a smile on my face.

- I want to have the blue eyes. I think it will make me attractive. However, the blue eyes and my black hair doesn't match.

Chinese people don't have black eyes! Chinese people have Chestnut colored eyes and they are just as beautiful as blue or green eyes!

- Green eyes like Adriana Lima? Those are beautiful, but blues are beautiful,too. I have worn all colors of contacts lens before, but anyway I have grown out of it and happy with myself now.

- I've looked into many Chinese eyes, I have never seen a black colored eye. They are always a Chestnut Brown color. The black part of the eye is a pupil and it's not actually black but it's a hole into the eye cavity.

- I'm very serious. I think Chinese people have beautiful eyes. I acknowledge there isn't any diversity with eye or hair color at that but diversity has nothing to do with beauty.

- It's quite interesting, Jimbo. I've rarely noticed this phenomenon before.There are really few individuals that have pure black eyes from my observation.
