Please tell me that someone else is watching, The Pacific?
This HBO miniseries might not be for everyone.
It chronicles World War Two in the Pacific theater of combat against the Japanese from the American perspective.
It's based on truth and actually follows the stories of actual soldiers that fought against the Imperial Japanese Army.
It is very violent but so is any war. The English might be a little hard to follow but the feelings are not hard to follow. It's a great story with talented actors. Check it our if you like war and history.
There are three out of ten episodes out right now. Here's the first one.

- Well, I like Tom Hanks so much, so with him and Steven Spielberg being executive producer, it is really worth watching. Besides, it is very educational for us to know something about the World War Two. Thanks for your recommendation!!

I agree that it's educational and entertaining! Which is hard to come by. War truly is hell on earth.

- Seems one has to know the history of WWII to appreciate that movie. Love to watch it. I wonder if it is the movie which has the famous Japanese war slogan "Bonsai you Bast****".
