I may have a blog that tells about it.  The city I live in, Mountain Home, owns a few parks.  In this part, they moved a few very old buildings (very old for this area is more than 100 years) to the park, including an old school building.  This building is made with rough lumber and is built with "boards and bats" with the batting boards being the narrow boards that cover the wider boards that made the side of the building.  In some old Arkansas houses, the walls were only one board thick!  People would mix flour to make their own paste and glue newspaper to the walls to provide insulation!  In older buildings, wooden pegs were used instead of iron nails.  Others were "log cabins" with the walls made of logs instead of boards.  This one is probably about 100 years old and was move to the site on a truck.
