Another dream.

Occasionally I write stories here about my dreams.  Yesterday (more or less) I wrote a more serious blog.  This one is more on the light side (=humorous or not too serious, opposite).

I dreamed I was at a large theme park like Disneyland and I was trying to get to my hotel room.  Several people were with me including my wife and some grandchildren.  They were not grandchildren that I know!  They were unfamiliar to me, but nevertheless mine and part of my family.

As has been happening in my dreams lately, I was trying to walk around both outside and inside a tall hotel building, much like the dreams I've had of being in my college dorm (a large, tall building).  How was it similar?  The elevators NEVER work right in my dreams.  In this case, I couldn't even find the elevator!  I was trying to find the front desk so I could check in.  My family had gone ahead to the room without me.

How can they go to the room without me checking in at the front desk and picking up the key?  I have no idea.  This is a DREAM dude, not reality!  From time to time, as I walked back and forth along the main floor of the hotel, I'd see a front desk, but as I approached, each time the number of people would grow smaller.  When I finally walked up to the front desk, I'd discover it was just a janitor's work station or something else, anything but the front desk.

After hours of searching, I finally found the front desk.  But they were closing for the night!  I was escorted out and told to check at the main front desk.  Men wearing white shoes and calling themselves "penguins" made a line along the far wall and became walking across the room in a line to flush everyone out of the room.  The patrons obiedent went out the door and I found I had to walk past the penguins to get out.

In another part of the building, the halls kept getting smaller.  Finally the hallwas only 3 feet high, one foot wide at the top and three feet wide at the floor with slanted walls!  The farther I went the smaller the passage became.  This tight space often happens when I'm dreaming, usually when I need to roll over in bed.

The dream was too long and complex to write it all down now.  There was a starway I tried to climb on the outside of the building, a fake flood experience in the park, and many other things.  To find more drem blogs, search this site on the word dream.

It is the same as babysitting, right? hehe. I think everyone dreams once in a while. A typical one for me is like this: I was somehow chased by an evil person, probably a Japanese soldier, or just a wild beast. I ran and ran, but just can't escape and just as I was about to be caught and killed or eaten, I started and woke up with sweat all over.

Both your dream and rich's are interesting. If I were Freud, I would be able to tell what the dreams, especially those recurrent ones, say about your life.  However, I have troubles not only explaining my own strange dreams but also recalling them. Usually, I can recollect a few fragments, too unrelated to make a piece. The deeper I am in sleep at night, the less I can remember. If I happen to remember my dreams clearly, I will sure get up tired in the morning. In that case, I just spend a halfly-awake night.
