A few years ago, someone on this site suggested sharing the things we dream about.  I want to do that today.  I've written others in this category that you can search for by looking for "dreams" as a topic in my blogs.  For the past two years, I've been taking pain medicines for my back problems (age related pain).  My dreams are often very vivid and infrequently they are hallucinations and not dreams.

A few days ago, I dreamed I was climbing a volcano, a dormant volcano.  The road up the side went to a rich person's house with a nice view on the side of the mountain, but after I passed the house, the road got worse and worse.  Eventually, I found myself going up almost vertically.  The grass was covered in ice, but the ice was not cold.  One thing about mountain climbing is that it is often easier to go up than down.  I decided I could not go any higher, but when I thought of going down, I realized I was in a dangerous position, hanging on for dear life at elevation.  Finally, I decided to let go and just slide down, and I did that successfully.  What fun!

One nice thing? I'm dreaming more in color now.  Some people dream in "black-and-white" and never see much color, including me in the past. But now I dream in very brilliant colors, in this case, a metallic green of the grass, the jet-black of the mountain's rocks, and the brilliant white of the snow.
