A year or two ago, someone suggested writing about dreams here.  I have classified those I write here as "dreams" so you can search and find old ones. Tonight's dream had two parts. 

In the first part, I was sleeping in the dream just like I was really sleeping.  But there were dozens of people trying to physically touch me, with a type of touch that only allowed them to feel like they were my friend (completely platonic).  This is much like real life in that when I sleep, everyone in China is awake and trying to contact me!

The continuation of the dream was more interesting.  I was in charge of a large school, much like I do a little teaching of English on line.  It was, again, the middle of the night and most of the students were in their dorm rooms sleeping.  I was awake in this dream, as I often am at night; it is currently 3:25 a.m.  As I stood by my bed, I noticed a strange device, a gadget of some sort.  When I picked it up, it looked somewhat like a toy gun. But it had no handle and was shaped like a large bullet.  I wasn't sure what it was. 

I found that you could cock the object much like a person cocks some types of rifles.  I slid part of the lower side forward and back in place quickly.  Instantly, I heard a very loud bang like a gunshot and I realized the toy was a noise maker designed to sound like a rifle shot.  The object did not explode or move.  It was simply a noisemaker.  But it left a small pile of pink unexploded gunpowder on my bed. 

I stepped down two steps and looked down the hallway.  At first, no one seemed to be disturbed. Then I noticed a small group of people, administrators of the school, looking for the troublemaker (me!).  They had not seen me awake and I went back to my bed to blow away the evidence and put away the toy.  But when I blew on the gunpowder, it simply spread and seemed to multiply. The more I blew the more there was.  Finally, the entire room seemed to be covered in a light layer of pink powder.

Interpretations?  I am too tired to think about them!  HA!  I'm going back to sleep!  88.
