- Now cooler and drier weather has come into Arkansas, my home state. For the next ten days it will be sunny and beautiful.

- Why am I popular on this website? For every high school student in American who is studying the Chinese language, there are 10,000 Chinese students studying English.

- bluebird: Chinese population is enormous, the number of students studying English is enormous, and the number of your fans here is enormous, too!
- sedgehead: The US has the same population as China!!! Or at least the same as China in 1930. We will continue to grow.

- sedgehead: True, but not very many. My Chinese friends say "everyone studies English." In the US, maybe one student in four studies a foriegn language. Most study Spanish because it is easier.

- sedgehead: Yes, in Feb. I had never used QQ. Now I have nearly 500 QQ friends. I'm told 500 is the maximum! They help me learn Chinese! I help them with English.

- Cooler weather approaches. It will be 89 degrees tomorrow with a low around 68. By Sunday, the high will be 68 and the low 51. Brrrrr! Degrees F! Degrees C? F-32/2 plus a little (an estimate).

Computer problems continue! I've mailed one computer to my brother for repair. I'm using my old computer and dealing with several problems that make it slow too!

Hot again today with temps over 100 degrees. Next week will be nicer with 86 degrees forecast for Wednesday.
