- May I call you Philip? I just saw your blog today. You said you teach yourself Chinese; hmm, I've also been teaching myself English for ages. I understand how hard and frustrating it is to study a foreign language in a mother-tongue environment. Yet with determination I can find ways and books to continue study anyhow. I believe you can suceed (and your Chinese is good except a few sentence order problems). Happy we can be "neighbours" in Dioenglish, and further, hope we can be friends.
